Origin & Sourcing
This whole bean coffee comes from the Sidama region of Ethiopia, one of the most respected coffee-growing areas in the world. Ethiopian coffee is often known for its floral aroma, fruit-forward flavor, and lively acidity.
The coffee is grown at high elevation, approximately 2,000–2,200 meters above sea level, where cooler temperatures allow the coffee cherries to mature more slowly. This slower development can help create a more complex cup with natural sweetness and distinctive flavor.
This lot features local heirloom Sidamo varieties and is naturally processed, also called sun dried. During natural processing, the coffee cherry dries around the bean, which can help preserve fruit notes and create a more aromatic, expressive cup.
Brewing Guide
This Ethiopian medium-light roast is especially beautiful as a pour-over, drip coffee, AeroPress, or Chemex. To bring out its bright fruit and floral notes, use clean filtered water and grind your beans just before brewing.
A good starting point is a 1:16 to 1:17 coffee-to-water ratio. For example, use 20 grams of coffee with 320–340 grams of water.
For pour-over, use a medium-fine grind and water around 200°F. Start with a short bloom, then pour slowly in stages to help create an even extraction. For drip coffee, use a medium grind. For AeroPress, use a medium-fine grind and adjust brew time based on how bright or full-bodied you want the cup.
For the freshest flavor, avoid grinding the whole bag at once. Whole bean coffee keeps its flavor longer when stored properly and ground just before brewing.

The beans smelled amazing right when I opened the bag. This coffee has a bright, fresh flavor with a lighter body and a smooth finish. It’s different from darker coffees in the best way.
I brewed this as a pour-over and loved how clean and delicate it tasted. The flavor has a nice natural sweetness with hints of fruit and vanilla. It’s the kind of coffee I really love. Thank you
