PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Bright, sweet, and beautifully complex, this Costa Rica single origin coffee comes from San Marcos de Tarrazú in San José, Costa Rica. Grown in volcanic loam at approximately 1,300–1,600 meters above sea level, this medium-light roast offers a clean and expressive cup with notes of pineapple juice, blackberry, and almond.
This is a beautiful choice for coffee drinkers who enjoy a lighter roast with clarity, fruit character, and refined sweetness. It works especially well for pour-over, drip coffee, and iced coffee when you want a cup that feels lively, polished, and fresh.
Every bag gives back: $1 from every bag sold supports Hero Heal Foundation.
Flavor Notes
This Costa Rica single origin coffee has a bright and sweet flavor profile with layered fruit and a clean finish. The cup opens with pineapple-like brightness, deepens into blackberry, and finishes with a soft almond note that gives it balance.
Its medium-light roast profile preserves the clarity of the fully washed process while allowing the sun-dried sweetness to come through. This is a strong option for customers who want a coffee that feels elegant, clean, and more expressive than a traditional dark roast.

Origin & Sourcing
This whole bean coffee comes from San Marcos de Tarrazú, San José, Costa Rica, a region known for high-elevation coffee, volcanic soil, and structured cup profiles. The coffee is grown at approximately 1,300–1,600 meters above sea level in volcanic loam, which supports clarity, sweetness, and balanced acidity.
The coffee is fully washed and sun dried, creating a clean cup with defined flavor and layered sweetness. Varietals include Caturra and Catuai, both commonly grown in Costa Rica and known for producing balanced, expressive coffees.
Brewing Guide
This Costa Rica medium-light roast works especially well for pour-over, drip coffee, iced coffee, Chemex, and AeroPress.
A good starting point is a 1:16 to 1:17 coffee-to-water ratio. For example, use 20 grams of coffee with 320–340 grams of water.
For pour-over, use a medium-fine grind and water around 200°F, starting with a short bloom before pouring in slow, even stages. For drip coffee, use a medium grind and filtered water for a clean daily cup. For iced coffee, brew slightly stronger and pour over ice to preserve sweetness and brightness. For AeroPress, use a medium-fine grind and adjust brew time depending on whether you want a brighter or fuller cup.
For the freshest flavor, grind your beans right before brewing and avoid grinding the whole bag at once.
