Rich, nutty, and smooth, this Honduras single origin coffee comes from Cerro Azul and the Coop Cafetalera Siguatepeque Limitada. Grown at approximately 1,200–1,600 meters above sea level, this medium-dark roast offers a balanced cup with notes of apple, dark chocolate, and nuts.

This is a beautiful choice for coffee drinkers who want a fuller single origin coffee with warmth, body, and an easy finish. The washed and sun-dried process keeps the cup clean, while the medium-dark roast brings out a deeper sweetness.

Every bag gives back: $1 from every bag sold supports Hero Heal Foundation.

Flavor Notes

This Honduras single origin coffee has a rich and smooth flavor profile with nutty depth and a balanced finish. The cup opens with apple brightness, settles into dark chocolate, and finishes with a soft nutty character.

Its medium-dark roast profile makes it a strong option for customers who want more depth than a medium roast without losing origin clarity. It is smooth enough for daily drip coffee and rich enough for French press or espresso-style brewing.

  • Tasting notes: apple, dark chocolate, nuts
  • Roast level: medium-dark roast
  • Body: smooth and rich
  • Acidity: medium
  • Finish: nutty, balanced, and warm
Origin & Sourcing

This whole bean coffee comes from Cerro Azul, Honduras, and is connected to Coop Cafetalera Siguatepeque Limitada. The coffee is grown at approximately 1,200–1,600 meters above sea level and prepared as SHG and EP grade coffee.

The coffee is washed and sun dried, creating a clean, structured cup with balanced sweetness. Varietals include Typica, Bourbon, and Catuai, giving this Honduras single origin coffee a smooth and approachable profile with enough richness for fuller brewing methods.

Brewing Guide

This Honduras medium-dark roast works well across several brewing methods, including drip coffee, French press, espresso-style brewing, pour-over, moka pot, and AeroPress.

A good starting point is a 1:16 coffee-to-water ratio. For example, use 20 grams of coffee with about 320 grams of water. For a stronger cup, use slightly more coffee or a finer grind depending on your brewing method.

For drip coffee, use a medium grind and filtered water. For French press, use a coarse grind and a longer steep time to bring out the chocolate and nutty body. For espresso-style brewing, use a finer grind and adjust based on your machine. For pour-over, use a medium grind and water around 200°F with a short bloom before pouring in stages.

For the freshest flavor, grind your beans right before brewing and avoid grinding the whole bag at once.
