Origin & Sourcing

This whole bean coffee comes from the Mount Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania, where high elevation and fully washed processing help create a clean, structured cup. The coffee is grown at approximately 1,200–2,000 meters above sea level.

This Tanzania coffee is PB grade, also known as peaberry. Peaberry beans are naturally smaller and rounder than standard flat beans, which can create a concentrated and lively flavor experience. Varietals include Bourbon-KP and N39, both contributing to the cup’s bright, fruity character.

Brewing Guide

This Tanzania medium-light roast works especially well for pour-over, drip coffee, AeroPress, Chemex, and a bright morning cup.

A good starting point is a 1:16 to 1:17 coffee-to-water ratio. For example, use 20 grams of coffee with 320–340 grams of water.

For pour-over, use a medium-fine grind and water around 200°F, starting with a short bloom before pouring in slow, even stages. For drip coffee, use a medium grind and filtered water for a clean daily cup. For AeroPress, use a medium-fine grind and adjust the brew time depending on whether you want a brighter or fuller cup.

For the freshest flavor, grind your beans right before brewing and avoid grinding the whole bag at once.
